2.Our teacher, Atilano, was reading about J-Ball which is the first unit we have in our booklet. During the reading he mentioned a group of words that we need to be careful when we pronounce them in our daily speaking.
Those words were:
A. Soldiers
B. Contributed
C. Landscape = Passage
D. To strengthen
E. So on
3.Also our teacher said, "there are some adjectives that we can use as a verb". He gave us an example with one of them. The one he used was the adjective SICK. He wanted to know how we can change it to a verb, but we did not know how to do it. So, he decided to write it down on the board and explained it.
Sick = adjective
Sicken = verb
(example: You are sickening. Dominican water sickens me = Dominican water makes me sick.
4. During the class he let us know that there is a dictionary on the web that we can use when we need to look up some words and the same dictionary will allow us to learn how to pronounce them too.
This is the link for the dictionary on the website.
