CULTS

The word cult in current popular usage usually refers to a new religious movement or other group whose beliefs or practices are considered abnormal or bizarre. The word originally denoted a system of ritual practices. The word was first used in the early 17th century denoting homage paid to a divinity and borrowed via the French culte from Latin cultus"worship", from the adjective cultus "inhabited, cultivated, worshipped", derived from the verb colere "care, cultivate".
In the 1930s cults became the object of sociological study in the context of the study of religious behavior. They have been criticized by mainstream Christians for their unorthodox beliefs. In the 1970s the anticult movement arose, partly motivated by acts of violence and other crimes committed by members of some cults (notably the Manson Family and People's Temrple.


Nowadays are diferents kind of cults and sect:

 Cults are absent of the betterment of the individual person but rather than leader only. Cults try to subvert the human will with total and complete obedience to the leader of a group or sect .
Some may say that Christianity is a Jewish sect, or that the Shi'ite and Sunni confessions within Islam are sects. The problem in attempting to define a 'sect' by asking whether the institution as such is recognised by the state or receive benefits also leads one into subjectivity, in that a mainstream institution in one country may not be across the world. The Baptists, for example, are mainstream in the US, but are considered to be a sect in Russia as they have not been registered there for fifteen years. One man's religion is another man's sect.

Drinking water quality :

Various factors affect the water quality in the Dominican Republic, including: poor condition of purification systems, minimal operational controls, low level of maintenance of treatment plants, and mostly intermittent systems. 38.4% of water systems have no chlorination system installed. These are mostly smaller systems in rural areas. The fact that a chlorination system exists is not a guarantee that water is actually properly disinfected.

the pollution  in dom.rep. specially in tap water is huge,a lot of people spell money to buy a good water to drink,to use in diferents duties in the house.

Service provision :

Water and sewer services are provided by regional companies in the largest cities, the national water and sewerage authority (INAPA) in other cities and towns, as well as by community-based water boards in rural areas.

The regional water and sanitation companies were established over a period of 25 years, each by its own law. Each company covers one Province. Their general directors are appointed by the President of the Republic, thus showing a continuity of centralized decision-making in the presence of regional companies. Besides this similarity, the governance structure (such as the composition and function of their Boards) of each regional company is different. The regional companies are:
       

OPINIONS ABOUT SHY PEOPLE

For me :
 A shy people is Someone who is afraid of rejection of others by seeing them the way they are, probably not well dressed, or have a certain attitude that is not like everyone else.

Probably wasn't around a lot of kids while growing up so they lack social behavior.

They might not like themselves so they use this way of being "shy" to cover it up, to be kinda hidden from the world so they can skate on by unseen or unheard.

They are like what you said "misunderstood", and people generally tease people like that harshly because they are not as open and free like they are.

A shy person doesn't have to be misunderstood ... I think a shy person is some one who is insecure and is afraid to bring out his/her personality out.
It's usually because how a person was brought up ...if it's a child who's always home with very strict parents that child would be less outgoing than some one with very loose parents who accustomed him to people.
or someone could become shy by a certain incident that happened in his life..
or it's simply a nature .

As we know, for some people, it may simply mean being introverted, or quiet and cautious. In this sense, shyness can protect us from moving into new experiences too quickly. However, for other people, it may mean not being able to do or say what they want. From there begins the fight between the Bashful and the bold in the social scale.

But what happen if we measure the Bashful and the Bold in a psychological level?

The Bashful Chart:

In the Bashful´s one the emotional interests turns into their own world, they enjoy to be by themselves, their response to new experiences it´s to get away from them, their judgements are independent of  the public´s  opinion, that´s way they prefer to remain with their ideas, instead of  listen others opinion, they are concerned more in their relations and how intensity of intimacy could reach that relationship. That´s why their are looking for isolation, intimacy; and low interest in social relatioship.

They prefer subjectives imagination, the abstraction, and creativity. They are self-critical, and most of the time they are sensitives persons.

The Bold Chart:

In the Bold´s one their psychology are oriented into the people who surround them, they are sociable, and  they react fast in front any situation, they take new experiences with way positive, they try to get throuth any evolution as soon as they can. They externalize their emotions to everybody, as well they respond quickly to call of attention given for others.

They are objectives, realitics, and practicals. Their expression are emotional and spontaneous. Sometimes they could be sensitive and exhibitionist.

In Conclusion:

A Bold lifestyle is intense the tendecy to the activity and to the reflexion; a Bashful lifestyle the inclination to the reflexion prevail, and it´s weaker the tendency to the action. Between them are a multicolor nuance, some of them like sensations, thoughts, and intuition are there and their organization depends on the particulary case of reaction of any individual.
