My dream company will be called REYES TRANSPORTATION.

 Through my company I'm going to offer transportation services from the customs for all around the country such as: carrying out trailers or containers and others more packages.
Once my business grows up I will add also a rent car for renting: jeep, car and  track; offering all those services to my customers we will be helping foreigners or tourist to have a comfortable tour around the country, enterprises to offer their services to its customers at long distance and at the same time help us to increase our income in order to pay our employees their wages and continue growing.

When i was a little girl, my mother told me about a ghost, she said me that the ghost came at night at 8:00 o'clock. my mother told me the the ghost was spirit of my grand mother dead.

This information can be gathered by means of the owner's likings such as: place of birth, first letter of his name, favorite song, and among many others different type of sources.

My dream company

It's going to be a small,but very special restaurant for young people and adults. Its name is "Cuisine".

Its claim to fame is going to be the seafood and meat,the menu will include national and international food and cocktails too. It's going to have a good chef, four waiters and no more than 10 or 12 tables, in that way the restaurant can be more intimate.
The slogan is goin to be: "The Place Worth The Price"
Opened from 7:00PM to 12:00 on weekdays and from 7:00PM to 2:00AM on weekends.
I want my restaurant be located in the Colonial Zone,Lincoln or Roberto Pastoriza avenue avenue

The Name Game

There are a lot of brand as you can imagine, but some of them are really remembered by his background and his tradition. For instance, the brand Pampers. Maybe you know, but everybody understand that we are truly talking about discardable Diapers. Is very important to be very selective at the moment to choose your brand' because it could mark your company advancement. Some of the big companies have their histories about how their choosen their names also if they have a bestseller products their should have their histories too. For that reason, at the moment that you choose the name of your company be original, because through that people remember you.

My own company is called "Paola Fiesta Deluxe"

I have a company called "Paola Fiesta Deluxe", Paola is the name of my daughter, Fiesta is like party what you are going to celebrate and Deluxe is because we offer you a premium products, we always offer to our customers all kind of products that you demand to celebrate your party, if you need: chair, desk, and tableclothes and everythings that you need, we have. My dream is to expand and to be the number one offering my services, if you go to celebrate some event you should think in us. If you dream to be a entrepreneur,be persintent and you could have a fruitful future. A tv show called " Emprendedores" directed by a young man named David Collado, he interview a young entrepreneurs who have theis own business to show us how you can become a big entrepreuner like them,.

   I consider that brand names are very important in order for someone to start a new firm, depending of the type of public it wants to attract.

  Brand names are a way for people to identify their quality and stability in this competitive market that  we are facing now a days.

  Personally, i rather pay a higher price for brand-name products than for products that do not carry an established onea, because this involves paying for more.

My own business.
 The company of my dreams is a Brothel where the girls provide sexual services in exchange for money.  My company will make a selection of beautiful girls which will be protected by qualified personnel.  My employees have good wages and work together for the good development of business.  The fees for services go hand in hand with customer demand. Dream Company

  I have always wanted to have my own firm,  involved in the trade of goods, and services.

 Im aware that we all want to have something that represent us, but i know as well  that we have to fight for what we want.

  My dream company is a travel agency name: Fly away travel agency or Dreams travel agency, i want to provide better discounts than others, as layaway, combos, if they purchase a trip to Texas they will get a 10% discount to Las vegas.

   Make sure that i can offere snacks, drinks as ice tea, wine, or deserts depending on the occasion.

One of the dreams of my life has always been to have my own bussines. I feel tired to be an employee,but unfortunately, for the moment, I need to work and I´m need to earn an extra money. I dream with have a company dedicated especially to the gifts wrap,because I know that our country has a great needs in this aspect. I hate when I go to store to buy some gifts and the person who works there makes me an ugly gift wrap. It´s unpleasant give to somebody a gift clumsily wrapped. In this country people do not care about that,if it is possible some people send gift unwrapped. For that reason I want to have this type of business.
I´m thinking of import the goods from Europe,especially Holand and Italy,because I have visited these countries and I know that there I can find many beautiful things for my store.
I do not have the name of my store yet but I´m thinking about it.

My Dream Company

I dream about having an Investments company. Directed to small business growth. In my company the most important value will be the personal service, by identifying the real needing of our customers and they're capacity to pay.

It's going to be eco-friendly, a relax environment, where kindness and teamwork will be present. The employees will have a good salary and working hours, so they feel satisfied and will give the best service of the market.

It will be located in the principal cities of Dominican Republic, to reach the highest number of traders. It will be named "Hope", because we'll be a light in dark economy of our country.

 My own business

Well, I have many dreams in my life but my principal dream is to have my own  orphanage. I wish to have an orphanage because I want to help orphan children. I suffer when I see a wandering child in the streets. I see that little boy is in danger.

Always I have loved the child psychology, also Modern Languages, to work with children. I want to have an amazing place to have a lot of children who aren't homeless and I want to give them food, clothes and especially lots of love. I want to go ride with them on weekend to swim, to play, to visit my family and so on. My dream business is to have a company where people can eat and buy clothes. Nowadays girls like to buy a lot of things to be beautiful. I want to have in my company three levels, one for food, and two for shopping. I want to have twenty employees, cashiers, cleaners, cookers, waiters. For girls I will have jeans, dresses, sandals, skirts, jeans all that you can imagine. In the restaurant I will offer dominican and italian food.

The Bacà is a diabolical creature that people conjure up to get wealth and property. It is also called upon to protect land and property from being stolen. It is thought that when a person all of a sudden gets prosperous they have conjured up a bacà.

The baca can take the form of a black cat, a dog, bull or other animal. Once conjured this shape-shifting creature becomes very demanding. It wants great sacrifices on the part of the person who uses him. To get what you ask from this creature it is like making a pact with the devil himself. In return for your gains he might be nice and just take some of your lands, homes, businesses or livestock. If you are one of the unlucky ones you might have to pay the ultimate price by having you, your friends or your family suffering with diseases, illnesses, bad things happening or the ultimate price, dying mysterious or by committing suicide.

So before you decide you would give anything to become prosperous think long and hard before you call upon a baca. Do you really want to sell your soul to the devil for eternity just to have a short time of prosperity?

The baseball came to be one of the most played sports world,

making call the attention of many fans.

For example, in Dom. Rep. the baseball is the game most widely watched and played.
So when we are in season game, the fanatical go to the stadium to enjoy the game,or if they can't

go the stadium, because  they don't have money, they can go to the minimarket and watch the game

there and share with other person or friends.

One of things that I don't like of this sport is that when your favorite team win, the fanatical go on the 

street, shooting, fighting, or tie one of the tinplate in their car.

I am that many people say, I enjoy with the team to win. I never lose.

    To me baseball is a very excited game, due to the fact that is one of the most played sport in the world.

Im glad to know its invention and who was the first player; Although it was born in the United States, i fell proud that the game has taken root in to our  country "Dominican Republic" recognized in various contries, for  our valued players as: "Pedro Martinez", "Robinson Canó", "Moises Alou" and others.

The term urban legend appeared in print since at least 1968 and was using by folklorists. Juan Harold Brunvand, professor of English at the university of Utah, introduces the term to the general public in series of popular books published at beginning in 1981. 

URBAN LEGENDS.
It is common to hear about different stories in the streets,some of them reals and others invented by the people. Most of those stories especially come from the old people that live in the town and had handed down from generation to generation.

Since I was very young in my town I heard about the story of a woman that lived there and  one day suddenly died without being sick. Her family was really sad and confused because she apparently was healthy. Her father was a bad man,people said that he was believing and was working  for the devil,and that his dauther died because he sold her to him.
After almost a year of she died,one person said that he saw her in Haiti and he tryed to talk with her but she did not recognized him. Then may people went to Haiti to see her and confirm that the woman in therewas the same who died in my town.
I don¨t believe that this story is true,I think that when one person die don¨t go to another place more than the cementery.

For me is very important to know about the Baseball´s history,because I love this sport.
According to the reading,the original name of the baseball was Townball,developed in the early nineteeth century in United States.The National League was stablished in 1876. The first World Series was played between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Boston Pilgrims,in 1903.
Dominican Republic,Cuba,and Venezuela with their strong baseball traditions have contributed many players to the major leagues in the United States. Baseball has also taken root in East Asia: Korea,Taiwan and especially Japan.
The first japanese baseball player who play on a professional league was Mikami Goro.
J-Ball as japanese professional baseball had twelve teams equally divided in two leagues,the Central and the Pacific League.

THE CARIBBEAN SERIES

The Caribbean Series is a baseball competition that meets anually to the winning teams of professional winter leagues of the countries of The Confederation of Professional Baseball Caribbean: CUBA, MEXICO, PUERTO RICO,DOMINICAN REPUBLIC and VENEZUELA.
It was idea of the businessman Jesus Corao. PUERTO RICO is one of the founders of the Caribbean series, along with CUBA, PANAMA and  VENEZUELA.

They have a number of DOMINICAN players participated as : Felipe Alou, Jesus Alou, Joaquin Andujar, and others.

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC has the reocrd for the most wins in The Caribbean Series.

Urban lengends in the Dominican Rep.

Urban legends in Dominican Rep. are very varied, having some of those quoted to be true but this is something that to the best of my knowledge cannot be verifiable at a 100%, most of the legends I've heard have come from my parents, old people I know and some friends  particularly  those who had either visited or lived in the countryside where most of dominicans legends and stories take place. ..


Personally i would like to tell you guys a very famous dominican story that took place in the cibao area (I can't remember exactly where it was), it is about a haunted house in which any person who dares to sleep in  the next very morning will dawn outside the house for some strange reason.

I really liked the reading "J-Ball". It's interesting to know the origins of the baseball and the importance it has in Japan. A detail that impacted me, is that it was used as a tool to fix the broken relations between USA and Japan after the World War II.

I think urband legends are fantastic histories, it is past of ours culture.
I think that each country town has its own legends, each of those urband legends are interesting because people enyojing to speak about it.

Dominican people love to create, we hear something and then invent an interesting history about the things that we heard.

For example in Dominican Republic there are many interesting  legends like the Ciguapa  and another one the Chupa Cabra and a lot of more histories.

At the end   ln  my opinion urband legends enrich our culture .
