A class that i really liked to me happened few days ago. It was about to buy stuff by internet, this is so nevertheless I am not an specialist but I have some knowledge about the matter.
I start to buy since several years ago, I buy almost all the things that are used for a person or to the house. To buy an article I take in count that the price is not over U$200.00, if the price is over you have to pay high taxes and the weight have to be less of 12 pounds, for every pounds you have to pay here aproximately RD$150.00.
The first thing that you need to begin buying in internet is to have a credit card in pesos and dollars. Then you have to register as a member in a courier.
(A courier is a person or a company employed to deliver messages, packages and mail. Couriers are distinguished from ordinary mail services by features such as speed, security, tracking, signature, specialization and individualization of services, and committed delivery times, which are optional for most everyday mail services. As a premium service, couriers are usually more expensive than usual mail services, and their use is typically restricted to packages where one or more of these features are considered important enough to warrant the cost, this part was taken from the internet)
After that you have to go to your bank to register the address that give you the courier in Miami as a second address this part is very important because the seller always checks this when they verify your credit card.
Finally I recommend for beginers to buy in Amazon.com because this is a secure site where you can buy with trust and you can find anything that you want. The first thing you have to do in Amazon is register as a new customer, then you go to your account and go to address book to register the one that give you the courier. After that you go to Payment Methods to register your credit card and now you are ready to buy.
I hope that this can help you to manage how this works.
