Hello People. This is my first time in the Blog. I want to tell you something about the topic and Me.

When I was younger, I played baseball for getting a Major League Contract.
I started to play when I was 16 Years old. I Practiced all mornings for two years as a pitcher in Las Caobas Grand Field, located in herrerra, Santo Domingo oeste.

It isn't easy to be a professional baseball player because you have to get habilities or create habilities that sometimes you don't have.

In my case, I developed a lot of habilities as a pitcher but my lucky wasn't very good because I had a lesion in my right arm for exercise exes.

Now I can't throw hard because that makes me feel discomfort.

I wanted to be a famous pitcher but I couldn't.

THE DOMINICAN WINTER BASEBALL LEAGUE

The Dominican Winter Baseball League is a winter baseball league consisting of 6 baseball teams spread across the Dominican Republic. it is the top domestic baseball league in our country the leagues players include many from Major League Baseball and its champion plays each year in the caribbean series.

Each team plays a fifty game schedule that begins the end of October and runs to the end of December. The Top four teams engage in an 18 game round-robin playoff the first three weeks of January; the top two teams in those standings then play a best of nine series for the national title.

The leagues Champion advances to the caribbean series to play against the champions of Mexico, Venezuela and Puerto Rico.

Baseball in the Dominican Republic

In the Dominican Republic developed the Dominican Winter Baseball League (LIDOM), is currently the highest quality professional league in the Caribbean and Central America and takes place in the autumn-winter season. LIDOM has six (6) teams that regularly compete for a championship, a semifinal and a final series which determines the national champion.
The teams belonging to this league are Aguilas Cibaenas, Tigres Del Licey, Leones Del Escogido, Estrellas Orientales, Toros Del Este and Gigantes Del Cibao .

In the Dominican Republic baseball are very popular because is a principal sport for enjoyed the people. Licey is the older teams in this country.

Las Aguilas Cibaeñas has been won 20 competitions.




Los Tigres Del Licey has been won 22 .







Los Leones del Escogido has been won 14.






Las Estrellas Orientales has been won 03 .




Los Toros del Este has been won 01 .



Los Gigantes del Cibao have not won any so far.



Almost every year the final are between Las Aguilas and Licey, I think that’s because they are the best.
The teams who wins the final series at the country go to la series mundial in representation of the Dominican Republic.
Many important dominican players whom play in the winter series are:

I think that the baseball in the Dominican Republic is a business because the people do not respect the others and if anyone annoying to owners of the teams they get fired, so if someone is not the accord can express about that because if not want to lose the position have to stay silent.
