               i have always been lured by those sort of stories since i was child. i remember when i was a kid that someone from the neighborhood told to a group of kids that were with me a frightening story. i do not remember it in detail, but it has to do with someone that gives a ride to a girl and she sat back in the vehicle and all of sudden she was not there. she just vanished as if she were a ghost or something. by that time, that was really dreadful for me. i could not even sleep well for almost a week or so. now i wondered, what urban legends are?, what it is its purpose?. well, according to what read yesterday in class, urban legends are just untrue stories used to frighthen or entertain people, perphaps used in earlier times to keep somebody from wrongdoings or just to scare him in order to keep him awake during the night. Otherwise, is a tool that we can explore in our everday teaching, because it draws people's attention easily. Personally i think is a good way to enrich our lexicon as well. Besides that, is a pedagogical activity that might be implemented to develop other similar activities such as: summaries, essays, reading club, among many other things.

Japan has a large following and where he was first introduced by an American , Horace Wilson, in 1872 , the professional game there for 50 years , have two leagues, the Central and the Pacific , with a total of 12 teams .

Baseball is one of the most widely watched and played sports in the world's history.In Japan has existed since 1873.
