DId the Chinese Discover America?

This is the first time that I have read that chinese discover America.
The story that I have read says that Columbus was who discover America, below there are some versions about who discover America.

Technically it is some unknown American Indian. Most people think they came across from Siberia where the Berring Staits are now located. It would have been at a time when due to the climate sea level was lower--and there was a lond bridge.

The first European to indisuputably reach North American was the Viking Lief Erickison. This was some 500 years before Columubus.

Columbus was the one who gets all the credit as being the first Eropean to reach America. And it was his voyage which is historically most signifigant--since it started the exploration and colinization of the Americas by Europeans.

There are some other peoples who may have reached America. There is evidence that the Japanese and Chinese may have landed on the west coast. This does make sense since the Japanese current would easily sweep a boat from Asia toward the west coast of North America.

Some people also think that druids may have reached the East Coast.

It has been hypotisised that the Phoenecians also reached the Americas. The culutre of the Aztecs and Incas is curious in that it is not typical of much of American Indian culture which may indicate an influence of people from the Middle East having reached the Americas.
