As we all know, an urban legend, urban myth, urban tale, or contemporary legend, is a form of modern folklore consisting of stories usually believed by their tellers to be true.
On Discovery Channel, there is a TV program called MythBusters, which its main goal is to prove the veracity of the urban legends, popular belief, Internet rumors and other myths. They test them by scientific methods and at the end of each episode, they rated the myth as "busted," "plausible," or "confirmed."
