ROBERTO WAKER CLEMENTE was born on august 18,1934.his family lived in the litter tawn of carolina on the island of puertorico.ROBERTO was the youngest child in his family.HE had two sister and four brothers.ROBERTO CLEMENTE alwgs  claimed tha he  was born to play baseball. and was he ever.as a child,ROBERTO played  baseball every minute he could.when he didnt have a ball he hit a tin can,by  the age of 19,he was in the big leagues.for 18,until he deathnthe played baseball for the pittburgh pirates,roberto loved to play baseball .hes fans loved to watch him,because on a baseball field,he could  do it  all.                                                                                                                                                                                            wherever,roberto had the chance,he played baseball.theweather in puertorico ii just right for playing year-round.ROBERT played ball with his brothers and his friends.his first bat was a stick.hia first glove was made fron a coffe-bean sack. his first ball was a rag tied into a tight knot. his first unifor was a red and white thirt with the name of the TEAN ON IT.                                                                                                                                                                                                                          1955-72 ROBERTO PLAYED FOR PITTSBURGH PIRATES.1966 HE WAS NATIONAL LEAGUE MOST VALUABLE PLAYER.1971  IN THE WORLD SERIES MOST VALUABLE PLAYER.4 TIME HE WAS NATIONAL LEAGUE BATTING CHAMPION. 12 ALL STAR GAMES.1,305RBIS .1984 ROBERTO WAS SECOND BASEBALL PLAYR TO BE ON A U.S POSTAGE STAMP AND THE ONLY ONE TO BE HONORED TWICE.
