THE CARIBBEAN SERIES

The Caribbean Series is a baseball competition that meets anually to the winning teams of professional winter leagues of the countries of The Confederation of Professional Baseball Caribbean: CUBA, MEXICO, PUERTO RICO,DOMINICAN REPUBLIC and VENEZUELA.
It was idea of the businessman Jesus Corao. PUERTO RICO is one of the founders of the Caribbean series, along with CUBA, PANAMA and  VENEZUELA.

They have a number of DOMINICAN players participated as : Felipe Alou, Jesus Alou, Joaquin Andujar, and others.

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC has the reocrd for the most wins in The Caribbean Series.
