baseball is considered one of the most popular sports in country like united states,cuba,japon and dominican republic. many people think that the best league of baseball is in the united states. where you can find the best players in the world. however each country where it is played have their own tournament or league. for example in dominican republic we celebrated our tournament every winter with only six baseball teams.they are called leones del escogido,tigeres del licey, aguilas del cibao estrellas orientales,toros del este and gigantes del cibao. last year los leones del escogdo went to the final serie agaisnt los gigantes del cibao. where they won the winter baseball shampionship
