ABOUT THE YO YO

According to many sources, the beginning of the history of the Yo yo is not exactly known. No one knows who was the inventer of this toy. Even though, it is said that it was developed in Greece, India or China. But this toy became very popular in the 18th century in England and France. The first modern Yo Yo was introduced to the United States by Donald F. Duncan in 1920. But it became even more popular in 1930 when Duncan formed teams to travel across America to teach tricks about Yo Yo´s and to sell them. Unfortunately, Duncan went bankrupt because he manufactured more Yo Yo´s than the amount he could sell.
