Personal Opinion Question 1:
There are dozens of urban legends in my country such as the baca(i posted about it), the ciguapa and so on and so forth, especially in the Cibao region, they talk a lot of wizards and witches and when a child looks a little skinny they always say that the witch is sucking or eating him. sometimes there is a cat in the roof and they think that a mysterious one is coming for them.
Personal Opinion Question 3:
I heard a different version of The Vanishing Hitchhiker, it was about a girl who wanted get married but she died the same night of her wedding when she was on way to the church in a car accident, others versions say that was her former boyfriend who killed her by jealous. but actually in some countries some people affirm see a woman in a wedding dress walking in a long street very late at night, when they get close to her,she gets disappear. In the Dominican Republic some people said that there was a woman in las americas that in the evenings always asked for a ride and when she is on the car, she used to say, that she had an accident in that highway and after a little conversation with the car driver, she gets disappear too. And when the people get scared, they crash their cars. There was a soup opera about it with a couple of adjustments more or less, it called: A Queen in las Americas.
when it comes about organ thieves, we have a lot of them here in our country, but with a little touch of urban legend, our parents used to said us that if we arrived late at night a strange could kidnapping us and sell our organs like eyes, teeth, kidneys so on and so forth, the sad part of all of this is that was true a lot of kids got lost in that time, what started like something to scare us, it became true.
